Phil, I am getting some strange results on this.
I can get to a 24 bit WAV file using WMP 9 and the plugin. Softsqueeze is not playing either WAV or FLAC file properly. And the FLAC version looks weird in Audacity. I upgraded to FLAC 1.1.4 so that may be confusing things, so let me re-rip the HDCD to a clean WAV and try this again with FLAC 1.1.3.
