I am sure that's not what you intended to say, since as we all know and agree the same CD will sound entirely different omn different systems. If you meas the same file in the same system... it depends on the alteratives to play the same file the system allows for. This discussion narrowed it further, which allows for your statement, but shows how overzealous we can sometimes get. :-) What I think this discussion shows is that there are untapped audiophile business opportunities. Coatings for the SB that make the SRAM more resistant to cosmic rays and such.
