I have used the Kennsington transmitter on long road trips and it works fairly well. Its sound quality is definitely better than the Belkin I was using. However, you will find that you occasionally need to change the broadcast frequency and retune your radio because strong nearby stations do have an impact, mostly excessive static and crosstalk. None of these sound great, but when the kennsington is working it sounds about as good as a good radio station. Hope that helps.
