Hiya, Please please please :-) Only post if you have experimented in any way with isolating feet. I got somewhat lost in the last thread in other discusions.
I purchased a set of feet at the Bristol show. With the feet under my SB - (don't know quite how they work) - but the sound seems ever so slightly smoother but slightly more recessed. Without, slightly more forward sounding and not quite so smooth. Could be in my mind as it was only me swaping back and forth :) I've left the SB as it was, as I prefer the more forward sound and there was not enough increase in smoothness to sway to keeping the feet. While in the experimenting mind, I thought I would try the feet under the linear psu (Was told at the show the feet help towards isolating electrical noise). Again, the differences were only ever so slight. With the feet, the sound seemed to have slighlty more rounded edges and sound stage width increased. However, without the feet the sounds seemed to have more clearly cut edges, not so much one sound edge mashing into another, but the soundstage not quite so wide. I prefered the clear cut sound edges, of the psu without feet, over a slightly wider soundstage (with feet), so I've a set of feet sitting on the tv at the moment. Anyways be interesting to hear if others hear any differences.
