Sean,

If I set transporter to use external clock and then also tell dcc2 to
use external clock, no sound comes out. If I set transporter as clock
source and dcc2 to use external clock, all is good.

I also tested dcc2 using emm cdsd as transport. Normally I would set
this up using emm labs dsd connection. That works fine. I have also set
up the cdsd to output pcm via its aes/ebu and connect word clock out of
dcc2 to word clock in of cdsd transport using the same bnc cable I have
been using to connect the word clock to transporter. Playing cds this
way I get no popping. So I don't think anything is wrong with dcc2 or
cables. 

I am using 6.5.1.
