Hi Folks; I don't know diddily about Dacs, but I'd like to suggest another forum that seems to.

Most of those posts are about outboard Dac's with a final goal of listening through headphones. I currently listen to Flacs through my SB3 (not modded) linked to an old Audio Alchemy Dac/jitter reduction combo. The forum seems very respectful...few flames. YMMV of course.
