Like, 80% of the CDs out there don't even merit to be ripped in FLAC? :-) Seriously, I read somewhere in an audio mag that popular music now basically is mixed to sound good as a 128k MP3, just like in the good ole 60s Motown mixed stuff for it to sound good played on the radio... not the best way to ensure subtleties make it to posterity...
