I have an extra ALW super reg board if you're interested (NC), but it's
around 2x4 inches unpopulated.

What would be helpful to me is if you/someone could define the
theoretical connection points in the following pic, especially in terms
of how Vcc,Vdd are powered together/separately (don't they need to see
their voltages in sequence- i.e. from a rail?). 

Would the best way to find the possible 12V external linear connection
point be simply using a multimeter?
