The things to consider are 1) signal strength. if you have thick walls or are going through the walls at a steep angle, you may get reduced signal strength with wireless Ethernet. With very low signal strength, you may occasionally experience drop outs 2) cosmetics. Some folks consider a wire running across the floor to be objectionable
