I'm thinking about building a secondary little SB3 based system for
office or bedroom. I want it to cost as little as possible, but not
less - it's got to keep "audiophile"-standard. :)

I see it as little DAC, integrated amp, and good cost effective
bookshelf speakers.

I'd appreciate an advise for the components - they have to be available
in North America though.

Budget is not strictly defined, but as a secondary system it has to be
high enough quality and cost effective at the same time. I thought
about those little Epos or Totem speakers, one of new-gen chinese
DACs... Amp is an open issue for me, as I don't know any cheap and good
integrated amp with a small footprint.
