I would not remove the ground (aka return) of the IC since it is going into a monoblock. Doing so will almost certainly let the monoblock see full swing 50/60 Hz noise on the input and may well ruin the speakers. -- P Floding No, I didn't ABX it. And I won't even if you ask me.
