I really don't want to be a bother but in the two quotes I've posted you say the SB3's DAC wouldn't perform the same but you don't mention what that assumption is based upon. I guess you did compare them hooked up on your own setup. Personally I have never heard the Transporter but for a device that costs six times the price of a SB3 (at least in the Netherlands it does) it better has the better sound. I guess I have to listen to the Transporter soon.
