Muski, I'm very interested in how your headphone setup sounds, since I'm considering adding a Rudistor combined pre-amp/headphone amp to my setup, and like you I want to take advantage of the Transporters balanced output to make a completely balanced rig all the way to the headphones. Other reasons for wanting to add a pre-amp are that I feel there is something missing in the sound when directly connected to the power amp (my Transporter sounds no better right now than my old CD63KISig and it should be blowing it away easily), and in addition the digital volume control from the remote I feel is not very suitable for day-to-day volume control, only fine tuning.
