As for numbers, I've had to turn the volume control on the amplifiers
to the 85-90% range for normal listening levels.

I will be using FLAC, but currently, I am in the midst of an
approximately 3 day process to format my three 500GB hard drives in
Raid 5. So what we were using for listening purposes were some Apple
Lossless music files stored on another drive, and also Internet Radio
via the Transporter.
