So I have hooked up my Jolida CDP to my transporter and have been doing some head to head tests. Realize that I have JPS cables on the Jolida to the int. amp and using DHL labs BNC coax cable from the CDP to the Transporter and Better cables RCA interconnects with Eichmann bullets running from the Trans to the amp.
That said, overall, I am hearing more warmth of sound from the Jol-Int. Amp set up. This could be attributed the tubes on the output stage. Imaging of both and specificity of instrument and vocal layout is similar with tinge more silvery tone to the Transporter setup. These of course are initial impressions and could change with further burn in of the new cables.
