Hydrogen Audio is the best place to get info about EAC, especially if you're wondering about a specific drive. Since you now know the details of your drive, I'd use the c2 setting just to speed things up. The settings I mentioned are the safest if you don't know your drive details, but unfortunately the slowest. Disable cache and no c2 I got 3.9x Disable cache and use c2 was 10x Enable cache and use c2 was 16x The disc I tested gave confidence 18 in accurateRip for all 3 tests, but there were no scratches whatsoever. My normal setting for unscratched discs is the 10x, but if there are scratches/errors I just use burst mode with test and copy anyway. -- Skunk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Skunk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2685 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34156 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
