To conduct the tests I first made a set of jumpers using 12 gauge
speaker wire soldered to gold plated banana plugs.

Test 1:

For the first tests, I left the speaker cables attached and only used
the jumpers. For test one, I jumpered the negative side only.
Listening to my favorite test track, Hotel California on the Eagles
Hell Freezes Over CD, I had my wife alternate having the jumper in and
listening without it. I could hear no difference.

Test 2:

This time we alternated jumping both sides. We went back and forth
three or four times and I heard no difference.

Test 3:

Now we disconnected one half of the bi-wire speaker cable and left the
jumper in. Again, lots of listening and no difference.

Test 4:

I the other thread it was suggested that there might be a difference in
SPL. During the test 3 listening I thought I might have heard a
reduction in volume so I played a 1khz test tone and measure SPL with
wires configured for both bi-wire and jumpered. The power of
persuasion is pretty strong as both tests measured exactly 92db.

So thats it. There may be electrical differences with bi-wired speaker
cables but on my system at least, I could not hear them.
