I'm looking for a new analogue inteconnect cable but and have more Qs than answers from this thread: I'm green and no audiophile either but I still have a good pair of ears. I did a listening comp before buying my present cable 18yrs ago - there were quite big differences between the real cheap stuff and what I eventually purchased. Are you suggesting that a $30 - $40 blue jeans cable is real good audio quality i.e. you would put it between your Transporter and a $3000 amp?
