I have an old PS Audio 6.0 Preamp that I use exclusively in -straightwire- mode. It is completely transparent. Seems like everyone is using similar parts in their DACs these days. 'Crystal' clocks to reduce Jitter (lavry-PS Audio) etc.... Ho-hum... I guess I couldn't go wrong with either one. I need a local dealer that has both so I can try a PS audio vs Lavry shootout. I can't find a dealer for the Lavry.
