After reading the stereophile review, it appears the Naim has no SPDIF output because they feel it compromises the sound quality, but then again that's what they say about the display too... Perhaps someone could modify your CDX to have either BNC input + clock output, or more thriftily, do it with an SB3 using I2S signals directly to the pacific microsonics chip of the Naim (at which time you sell the transporter to recoup!).
