By triamping you mean, the bass is driven by two amps and the highs by one amp, right ? Yes, I too have that going. I played around with the HF/LF but I did not like it, seems like the 'tone' of the instruments is different. BTW, if you believe in power cords you should try on with the Panny. I have tried different power cords, but recently I got a Black Sand Cable Violet cord and man what a difference - I now hear a good soundstage even with my DirecTV channels. Yes, in bi-amp mode with a good transport the Panny is very impressive, but not many audiophiles are willing to go the trouble to squeeze some performance out of it (like vibration-free rack, power cords, good transport etc).
