Hi, I've ripped a HDCD to wave via WMP10>Chronotron. It is indeed showing in Soundforge 9 that it's not just of a lower volume: The peaks are not "shaved off" anymore. Now I'm wondering whether it's a good idea to normalize the peak level to 0db? Would that "harm" my file?
