I have the Nait 5 which is the Nait 5i's predecessor. I am sure they are very similar.
I am far from an expert, but I am fairly convinced this is some kind of problem with the Squeezebox. I don't get the buzz/hum if I re-connect my CD player to the Nait in place of the Squeezebox.
