I don't think it knows the artist or anything - it just gets some
overall data off the CD (track timings etc) and stores those.  That's
why you can get 'inaccurate rip' with a high confidence - it's not the
main pressing, but others have got the same, so you're fine.

Overall AR is a bit hit-or-miss, but is worthwhile - it is nice to get
the confirmation!
