Thanks to you all for suggestions! Since it's all a matter of child safety, and not mere protecting speakers from possible damage, I can't take a risk to rely on verbal or psychological barriers.
I hope some heavy stands will do the job... Can you advise who's making suitable stands (large base, sand/lead fillable, etc)? Give me few names, I'll try to find if they are available here in Canada.
