The Trends Audio TA-10 was mentioned earlier in this thread by peterw. I know it is a great amp for the money (as so many people recommend it) but my concern is with it driving my Mission 702e speakers. Your post had me completely sold up until: "Wouldn't recommend it for rock, drum and bass etc - it hasn't got the horsepower to drive deep Hz. I listen to 90 % Classical and Opera and it's perfect. Suffers abit on organ." Although I'm not a big rock or drum and bass fan, I do listen to quite a diverse range of music, and if I do select a rock track, I'd like it to sound 'rocky'. Can I ask, just how bad is the bass with 8ohm speakers (10 watts)? Is it something that is adequate, but just doesn't live up to the excellent highs, or is it genuinly poor? I ask because I have never heard a TA-10, and if it is reasonable, but not oustanding, I should audition it for myself (if there is anywhere local that sells them!?) I also realise I seem to be asking for the impossible for not much money. I would genuinly consider the TA-10 (along with others that have previously been mentioned that I've got my eye on on ebay)if the bass was reasonable with my speakers. However if the bass was poor, I would have to look elsewhere...
