I understand that the various txt files are the target curve profiles, and that each of the drc files has one defined (usually the one called - I think - b3_spline.txt, but not always). I guess what I meant to ask is - if I leave the b3_spline curve in normal.drc, and Hugh's instructions are right, there should be normal.wav and normal_direct.wav compensation files created, with the second one effectively being the "flat" version of normal. Is this what actually happens? I may have missed it, but your first post to this thread suggested (I think) replacing the target with flat.txt, but I may have misunderstood. Which one did you use, and did you only replace it in the normal.drc file, or all of them? totoro;203224 Wrote: > I haven't created new filters in a long time, so I don't know if there > are new problems, but I never saw error messages like the ones you had. > Could you tell us what the exact command line you typed was? I typed in ImpulsePrep /L left.wav /R right.wav >prep.log like it said on Hugh's website. -- tonyptony ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tonyptony's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3397 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=29489 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
