The Transporter accepts 96khz and digitally outputs 96khz. The SB3 accepts 96khz and outputs 48khz. Neither device upsamples.
My external DAC (AudioSynthesis DAX Discrete http://www.audiosynthesis.co.uk/dax_discrete.htm ) displays the input sample rate so I can compare the file statistics with the actual input signal.
