I don't think it's too difficult to convert between PCM and DSD or Vice versa. If I'm not mistaken, all the so called "Single Bit" CD DAC's are performing a version of DSD. But as Pat has said, it seems a bit pointless given the low amount of SACD source material available. And the handful of SACD's I own all have a standard PCM CD layer, which is what I've ripped for playback through my Slim system....
