PCM1748, but I read some white ones at one time came with the PCM1748KE, which has slightly better specs for twenty cents more (guessing on price). Upgrading to the KE version is pretty standard for modders doing analog upgrades. So in your engineering opinion, would the twenty cent increase be worth the added expense to the bill of materials, if you were designing the Sb3? Something to consider is the standard part performs better than it's specs in this application, according to the designer of the squeezebox.
