OK - If the internal PSU mods do anything good to a digital-only RCS it will be related to jitter and/or clock quality on the outbound SPDIF stream. My Altmann gear may be negating those effects. Please don't misinterpret what I am saying as a general comment on the Aberdeen mods as I am not in a position to comment having not tried them. What I was trying to do was to explain exactly why I felt no need to try them. If there was any quality insertion loss in bypass mode I would be looking into them.
