You're lucky. After food + drinks, I can't get my wife to stay awake for more than 30 minutes into a DVD. Can't even imagine having friends over -- I'd be worried it would be one big snooze fest. Nonetheless, we do tend to enjoy movies at home more than the theater. Except for image size, everything's better at home -- especially sound.
