I replaced the home set-top-box (Sky) with a home-built Windows Media
Center with dual Freeview tuners. I've put a load of the kids' movies
onto the hard drive to spare the grubby fingermarks and scratches on
the original DVDs. Plus I've put my entire music collection on there
and can blast it through the home cinema setup, which cuts down the
number of speakers in the lounge (a serious WAF issue).
