When I was 18 I applied for a job at the BBC. They did a hearing test.
I was 3dB down at 17Khz. (I got the job) I'm probably about 6dB down at
15Khz these days (30 years later).
However, the point is could I reliably hear 1ns of frequency/timing
variation? I don't believe I could, but I'm willing to test it.

You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it
ain't what you'd call minimal...

...SB3+TACT+Altmann+MF DACXV3/Linn tri-amped Aktiv 5.1 system and some
