When I was 18 I applied for a job at the BBC. They did a hearing test. I was 3dB down at 17Khz. (I got the job) I'm probably about 6dB down at 15Khz these days (30 years later). However, the point is could I reliably hear 1ns of frequency/timing variation? I don't believe I could, but I'm willing to test it. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal... ...SB3+TACT+Altmann+MF DACXV3/Linn tri-amped Aktiv 5.1 system and some very expensive cables ;o) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Phil Leigh's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=85 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=37044 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
