I'm considering using the DEQ2496 as the poor-man's Auto Room-EQ solution and was planning on running the SqueezeBox's optical output to the DEQ2496, then running the DEQ2496 analog audio outs to my integrated amplifier. Currently I'm using the SqueezeBox's analog output and was wondering how the analog output compares between the 2 units? I believe they both use an AKM DAC? How do they compare? Is one of higher-quality than the other? Thanks!
