I can't say whether anything's been newly broken.  My guess is that
whatever problems people are having (and they seem fairly minor) have
likely been there since older versions of the software.  The SB3 and
SB2 are essentially the same and the same firmware runs on both.  The
SB2 has been out for several years, so the firmware can't help but be
more mature.

The only problem I've had with the Transporter is when switching
to/from the digital inputs.

But I don't really do anything unusual with the Transporter, and use it
exactly like a Squeezebox.  So it's not surprising that others might see
problems that I don't.  I don't use the second display, don't use the
knob or the buttons, and I only seldom use the digital inputs.  I don't
even use the remote except to adjust the brightness.
