not nessearily a great solution as the volume is in the digital domain ...and correct me if I'm wrong but it affects the resolution of the output signal .... I run mine in digital only output ...as the volume is reduced I can hear the effects it has on the sound ....try doing this but increase the amps volume to keep the output the same ....the sound now [for me anyway ] is distinctly flat no sparkle -- zanash Acoustician and builder of interesting cables ------------------------------------------------------------------------ zanash's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12157 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=37447 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
