One of the reasons I bought the TP was using it also as a stand alone DAC. Now, the digital inputs doesn't seem te be working propperly, sometimes (and not even all the time) when I select RCA first, and then optical, it works, but then switching back to normal playback results in "silence" and i have to reboot the TP to get sound back.
So as it is, using it as a stand alone DAC really isn't an option. Currently, I'm using formware 31, and this hasn't been updated for quite some time. I already saw this bug listed bugs.slimdevices.com and voted for it. but no real reponse from Slim Devices, or any indications that it'll be solved any time soon.
