if running from the analogue section you need the best ic you can make buy etc.
if running from the digital out ....again the best cable you can make or afford. the Sb3 itself ..try attaching it massy base the rubber foot can be used to cable tie the unit to an mdf sheet sat on a rubber mat sandwiched between a tesco's finest granite placemat on felt feet.
