Now that's funny! USB audio supports only isochronous mode, in "economy" implementations have much more severe jitter problems then good SPDIF. I would never go with "just" USB, unless it has taken special measures to partially overcome these problem, just *some* of more expensive implemementation did.
BTW, HugUSB doesn't even supports true ASIO...
