Righty... the SB is indeed wireless, but the speakers aren't. I've no idea how my electrical system is grounded (I live in an appartment). There are some very large transmitters of some sort nearby, but I've a feeling they're mobile phone rather than radio. Not exactly sure, though.
I've a feeling it still makes a noise when I unplug the cable from the SB, but I'll check this evening if that would help.
