I've always prided myself on being a semi-audiophile (semi because I don't spend silly money!) so when I got my SB3 I decided to see how much was lost when CDs are ripped to MP3. I took a couple of familiar tracks and ripped them to 256k AAC (iTunes), 320k MP3 (lame), and FLAC. When comparing them to each other on my hi-fi system, I couldn't tell them apart!!! So either my system is not up to it, or my ears aren't up to it. Or both!
