Well, sometimes when nobody is around the house and I have nothing
better to do ... well you get the idea. Let's say I just constantly
fail to notice any gain that might be coming from cutting of (or adding
to the same power bar like SB) various wallwarts, re-arranging power
supplies and similar activities.

I'm not saying ther are not any benefits to upgrading power supply,
using $$$$ power cords or interconnects and similar. I just don't have
completely silent room nor I invested $100 000 in my system, so I
really can't be sure it's an absolute truth. But in the financialy
balanced system where SB3 is a front and and in most of setups that can
be seen in our photo gallery, in my experience it doesn't make too much
sense to match SB3 with equally costing ps.

The sound stage will open up, bass will tighten and the imaging will
improve. DVD performance will also increase substantially.
