Well, I might have some bad data here but both speakers are 8 ohm so
together create 4 ohm. Your Amp claims to have 4 ohm capability so
you are probably OK in hooking these up in parallel. I's still be
cautious with the volume. A quick call to NAD would easily settle
your mind though if you don't trust their web page or are paranoid like
me.

Still, that won't solve your problem if you want to actually divide the
lows from the mids & highs. Just wiring them in parallel will still
have both running full range. You would need to build your own
crossover device (not simple) or buy an amp that has multiple outputs
and allows you to change the crossovers of different sets of speaker
outputs.

Most 5.1 amps will allow you to simply set pairs of speakers to "Large"
or "Small" which could let the "large" run full range and the "smalls"
to just receive whats over the crossover threshold. Most people use
this to keep all the lows going to their sub woofer but it might 'kinda
sorta' do what you are proposing

However, that's mostly used for multi-channel music so you would have
to make sure your amp/receiver can do two sets of mains (two
simultaneous fronts or two zones) and that there is a small/large
setting for both.

Holy ___, the more I type, the more I think, just run the speakers you
think are the best detailed with highs and mids and invest in a good
sub, like someone said. KISS theory.
