Or another Transporter ;) These two devices are designed to be located round the house next to the stereo/speakers they are driving, not as a central music distribution system

This would appear to be the way Logitec are taking the display as opposed to having video out. Gene Zalar;241934 Wrote: > 3. There are loads of NAS boxes that can have Slimserver installed on them now. Some have to be hacked to get them working (Buffalo for example), some have the ability to add custom apps but are not supported by the manufacturer (Thecus N5200 for example) and some have vendor supported modules (Qnap and Infrant). Some NAS boxes are little speed daemons and take 5 drives (N5200) some are painfully slow and are single drive. Have a hunt about in the 3rd Party Hardware forums. You might get more response in other forums. 'Audiophiles' is mainly concerned with achieving the highest possible audio quality... and arguing about said quality ;) -- funkstar ------------------------------------------------------------------------ funkstar's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2335 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=40157 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
