I have recently purchased a Mac Mini to serve as my slim server and have seemed to run into an issue with 24/96 files, either m4a or AIFF.
First question is, do I need to use Apple formats for iTunes usage? Secondly, if so is the intel base Mac Mini just incapable of what I am trying to do? I can play the AIFF and m4a files through iTunes to my Lexicon through the Mini's digital out, but it only shows 44.1 input. I do have duplicate libraries in both Apple Lossless and FLAC and the music is stored on network storage...
