The base of the equipment is about 6 inches above floor level. Center line of the display is pretty much eye level with the viewing area. Tweeters of the Mains are slightly higher, with a slight donward angle. The tweeter of the CC is higher than viewing, and is tilted as much as possible downwards. From the main viewing area, the off axis is not bad. I tend to lie on the floor sometimes and off axis on the cc does come into play as dialogue can be indistinct at lower listening levels. (Next cc will be an inwall, or partial in wall with more ability to downward angle the tweeter. I have not seen anything like you mention. My plan was 2 fold (with the 2nd portion not being solid). Th cables will be routed and tied with velcro.
