sgmlaw, you might be surprised by Transporter. It excells in the very areas you think it will falter. At least it does balanced through very top tier amps and speakers. I've heard it through rowland/watt/puppies and have heard it through thiels and several other combos. I have compared it with some very expensive competition and it compares very well.
