I personally think it would not be worth it. But I consider most of what Sony makes to be junk. I also consider CD players, especially big changers obsolete. Personally I would finish ripping the CDs in the changer and sell it on eBay. :-)
I'm currently waiting for a good Squeezebox for my DVD collection, and buying bigger disks for my server so I can stream video to my TV.
