One of the interesting comments in the article is that they only found
a very few SACDs for which the noise floor was actually better than the
16 bit quantization noise from their A->D->A.  On those few the
difference was audible, but only on quiet parts of the track with the
volume cranked (which doesn't count, as far as I'm concerned).  On the
rest it wasn't audible even under those circumstances.

Another comment was that the SACD versions did tend to sound better
than the CD releases - but evidently because of mastering differences,
not resolution.
